A Snapshot of My Life

I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I grew up with both my parents and an older brother. After graduating high school, I moved to Flagstaff, Arizona to attend Northern Arizona University. While at NAU I had an awesome opportunity to study in Mexico and work on my Spanish. I graduated in May 2000 from NAU with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. A few days prior to graduating I married my husband, Neal Kleinschmidt, an officer in the Air Force. We moved to Alaska, where Neal was stationed. Since Alaska, we have lived in Montana, New Mexico, and Ohio. While living in Montana, Neal and I had our first child, Aurora. We were blessed with a second daughter, Sedona, while living in New Mexico.

I first sensed a call to ministry during a youth retreat at Ghost Ranch, in Abiquiu, New Mexico. Currently in Ohio, I am an Inquirer under care of the Presbytery of the Miami Valley as well as a Youth Ministry Intern at Southminster Presbyterian Church. Having been accepted to the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary Distance Program, I will start classes August of 2010.
The whole group!
You eat weird things for the cause, you know?
Montreat was a blast this year.
